National Care Home Open Day

Today Chambers Court joined many other Care Homes to take part in National Care Home Open Day.
We invited along, friends and family as well as members of the public to have a tour of the care home, meet our wonderful residents and find out a little information about what we do here at Abbotsford Chambers Court.
The residents and the staff team put in a great effort to make the day a roaring success, visiting all of the shops on our local high street to promote the event, handing out our posters, and asking the community to come along and visit us.
They also then took to the kitchen to do some home baking in preparation for the day (as well as convincing their friends and family to help out). This was much appreciated as we managed to raise £84.00 on the day from the delicious cupcakes. Well done to everyone that helped.
Chambers Court would like to thanks everyone that visited, the staff team, the residents and friends and family for the dedication that was shown and we hope that all had a fab day.
Unfortunately, no members of the public visited the care home even with all the prior local advertisement that was carried out.
