Residents from Coll, Barra and Arran House enjoyed a canal boat trip on the union canal, an old-fashioned barge with seagull trust cruises .They were even offered a chance to steer the boat…. Ships ahoy!!
A lovely morning/afternoon was spent with seagull trust cruises, cursing along the union canal. Residents enjoyed the relaxing trip and the wonderful Autumnal weather and scenery. Billy and Karen from Coll both said they had a great time, Peter and Gordon said they couldn’t wait to go again. They were even given the chance to steer the barge no one was brave enough maybe next time we will take a captain’s hat!!! After a cup of tea, picnic lunch it was time to head back along the canal to finish there journey.
