Nursery comes to Headwell

Crossford Nursery were keen to start up regular visits with us here at Headwell, so with careful planning we have been welcoming up to 12 children aged 3 and 4 to Headwell on a Friday mornings from 10.30 till 12.00 to share in activities and games.
What a great enjoyment for everyone, the children refer to the residents as their “older friends” and are looking forward to spending time with them. We have games, songs, book reading, snack time (which is very popular) and we usually finish of with the parachute game. The children are gaining in confidence with each visit and are able to visit all of the units within the home.
We are now making Easter cards together to sell at our Easter Fete on the 20th of April.
What a fantastic experience/ activity for everyone – highly recommended to keep everyone young at heart.
